A standing ovation for God!
Hoot and holler
With joy.
Yahweh towers over all.
Breathtaking,
He’s King over
Everyone
Everywhere.
He’s crushed nations,
Letting us walk all over them.
We’re his great treasure,
His inheritance,
The pride of his dearly loved Jacob.
As God steps up to his throne,
A shout breaks out.
Trumpets blare
A fanfare for Yahweh.
Come on now, sing!
Sing God’s praises.
Come on now, sing!
Sing the praises of our King.
For God is the Great King
Of everyone
Everywhere.
Sing your best;
Play your best.
God rules supreme
Over every nation.
Enthroned,
God is sheer holiness,
Magnificently different than the rest.
The best and the brightest
Gather around Abraham’s God.
The strongest stumble
To their knees
Before God,
Acknowledging his supremacy.
